PA School | Is 2014 YOUR Year?

Future PA,
In this short video below I ask you a VERY important question. I want to know whether or not you are finally ready to get into Physician Assistant School?

If so, I want to see your ACTIONS speak louder than your WORDS!
(PLEASE EXCUSE THE CRAZY EXPRESSION ON MY FACE. LOL )

  1. David, im 54 years old with a strong clinical background in military medicine, specifically a Navy Corpsman. Where do I start?

    1. John, just do it my friend! Your experience as a Navy Corpsman will carry you a long way on your journey to PA school. Locate the PA school(s) you want to attend and meet the admissions criteria and apply. Also check out my “Top 7 Mistakes” video course. You can sign up for it right here on my blog. Best of luck to you. Thanks for your service.

  2. Hi Dave,

Im 27, and i’m finally ready to apply to PA with mostly clinical research experience. I’m feeling nervous since i haven’t been in college since 2008, and i’m looking to gain more direct patient contact. What advise would you give. By the way, i really enjoy your videos.

  3. @Mercedez, Congrats on making the decision to go for your dreams! Some PA schools do give credit for Clinical Research experience. You would have to check with your PA school(s) of choice for more information.

In terms of other direct patient contact experience, MA, EMT, CNA etc are ways to gain more hands on contact.

Best of luck to you! :-)

  4. I am an incoming senior student in high school and I am very interested in becoming a PA after high school. What major do you recommend me getting in college. I am also planning to go to a CSU.

  5. @Adriana, congrats on making a decision to become a PA! I was a Biology major since I knew that I wanted to go into medicine. Most Pre-med students major in Biology, Chemistry, etc. They usually choose the science majors because these majors usually meet PA school or Med school pre req requirements pretty easily. This decision is entirely up to you. Best of luck!!
